Role Summary:
- Design, implement, and support SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions to ensure compliant, efficient cross-border trade operations.
- Enable customs management, export controls, and trade compliance aligned with global regulations.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Implement and configure SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management).
- Support embargo checks, sanctioned party list (SPL) screening, export control, and license management.
- Design and optimize customs processes (import/export declarations, duty management, FTZ).
- Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and external customs/trade systems.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, prepare functional specs, and support developments/testing (SIT/UAT).
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and audit requirements.
- Support data migration, master data governance (BP, material classification), and cutover activities.
- Provide production support and continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications:-
- 5 10 years of SAP GTS experience with at least 1 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong knowledge of global trade compliance, export controls, customs processes.
- Hands-on configuration experience in GTS modules and integration with SAP ERP/S/4HANA.
- Experience with partner government systems and EDI interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in regulated industries (Pharma/MedTech).
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA for International Trade.
- Knowledge of regional regulations (US ITAR/EAR, EU dual-use, etc.).
