Job Summary:
We are looking for an entry-level engineer to support the design, development, testing, and improvement of medical devices. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to develop new products, improve existing products, perform engineering testing, and ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of new and existing medical devices.
- Help improve product quality, manufacturing processes, supply continuity, and cost.
- Participate in engineering and cross-functional projects.
Research customer needs through:
- Literature reviews
- Customer interviews
- Product evaluations
- Competitive analysis
- Clinical or simulated use studies
- Convert customer needs into engineering and product specifications.
- Develop and execute engineering test methods.
- Perform product testing and analyze test data.
- Prepare technical reports for design verification and product testing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering (preferred).
- 0–3 years of engineering experience.
- Medical device industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles.
