Job Overview: Assistant Nurse Manager
Location: White Plains, NY (Nonprofit Magnet-Designated Hospital)
Schedule: Days, 4x10 hrs.
Schedule:: 8pm to 6:00 am
Core Responsibilities
Operations: Accountable for unit goals, 24-hour nursing care responsibility, and managing the FTE staffing budget.
Leadership: Hires, evaluates, and mentors staff; fosters a culture of shared governance and Magnet alignment.
Clinical Quality: Participates in evidence-based standard development and performance improvement (PI) initiatives.
Direct Support: Provides hospital-wide supervision as required and periodically delivers direct patient care.
Requirements
License/Cert: Current NY State RN License and BLS (AHA) (Required); ACLS (Preferred/Required by dept).
Education: BSN (Required).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant acute care experience; leadership experience (Preferred).
Certification: Specialty certification or CNML required within 3 years of hire.
