This is a part-time position. Availability Wednesday through Friday 8a-5p is preferred.
This position entails providing mentorship, homemaker supports and respite for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In order to qualify you must have a reliable vehicle with current insurance and registration, computer access at home and be willing to have fun with our folks while helping them work on their goals! The position is 2-3 days a week. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour $.52 for mileage reimbursement.

Duties
¨ Oversees and supports the involvement of adults with special needs, helping them to learn applicable life skills, caring for their personal needs, and driving them around in the community.
¨ Provides integrated supports to the individual with developmental disabilities, including facilitating natural supports (unpaid friendships) and helping individuals sign up for activities and social clubs of their choice.
¨ Participate in the implementation of the Individual Service and Support Plan.
¨ Document daily on Daily Tracking Notes the individual’s habilitative progress.
¨ Facilitate and provide the transportation needs of the consumer. Vehicle must be safe and able to pass a multi-point safety inspection. Stellar Care covers the cost of the inspection.
¨ Must be able to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.
¨ Other duties as assigned.
