As the Reinstatement Team Manager, you will lead and oversee the reinstatement process for delinquent accounts, acting as a strategic liaison between borrowers, internal departments, and external partners. In this role, you will manage escalated cases with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the review and assignment of accounts approved for reinstatement—including involuntary, voluntary, and abandoned units—ensuring accurate categorization and timely processing.
- Collaborate with reinstatement vendors to document secured vehicle details in internal systems and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Conduct preliminary skip tracing to support account assignment and maintain consistent follow-up with agents to monitor progress and status.
- Track account activity related to payments or arrangements, applying holds or initiating closures in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Escalate unresolved or dead-end assignments to the Skip Department for further investigation and resolution.
- Support the selection and onboarding of reinstatement agents, negotiate service fees, and verify compliance with insurance and bonding requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including RTC, SCL, SSCRA, and bankruptcy protections.
- Process reinstatement and redemption transactions, audit agency invoices for accuracy, and facilitate vehicle release procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned; responsibilities may change.

Required Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in auto collections, reinstatement processing, or repossession operations.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of reinstatement procedures, vehicle recovery processes, and applicable regulatory compliance standards.
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in document management systems and compliance workflows.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by industry knowledge in captive finance, vehicle auctions, and regulatory compliance.
- Thorough understanding of FDCPA and relevant collection laws, with basic math proficiency to support financial calculations and transaction processing.

- Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment preferred.
