The Lease Credit Analyst I is responsible for reviewing and analyzing consumer credit applications, assessing credit history and risks, and providing decision outcomes within Stellantis Financial Services credit risk policies, compliance guidelines and profitability models.

Position Summary
The Lease Credit Analyst I is responsible for reviewing and analyzing consumer credit applications, assessing credit history and risks, and providing decision outcomes within Stellantis Financial Services credit risk policies, compliance guidelines and profitability models.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate credit reports and credit data to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit, in accordance with company policy, credit authority, risk appetite, and governing regulations (e.g., FCRA, ECOA, Reg M).
- Develop and maintain strong dealer relationships while ensuring volume, quality control and credit quality objectives are met.
- Manage exceptions to published credit authority using judgment and experience to produce risk outcomes within company expectations.
- Complete final disposition on credit applications utilizing authorized resources to complete verifications and due diligence when required, forwarding to appropriate level of authority if needed.
- Interact and communicate through various channels (including inbound and outbound phone calls) with our dealer partners, internal stakeholders and consumers, negotiate and provide credit review outcomes, respond to inquiries, or support strategic efforts and initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality due to regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in auto finance or similar roles, including customer service, collections, remarketing, loan processing, or retail franchise dealership sales, finance, or consumer credit underwriting.
- High school diploma and/or GED.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Basic windows computer skills.
- Mathematics (percentages), reasoning ability, judgement, and customer-facing skills.
- Intermediate MS Office skill in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience – Captive, retail automotive franchise dealership, and/or loan underwriting experience.
