Overview
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance
Job Location: Williamsport, PA
Under general supervision, install, troubleshoot and repair, and/or, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, machinery controls, and/or industrial electrical wiring. Requires a high level of skill and proficiency in each of these areas and must function as a technical specialist in at least one.
Responsibilities
Approximately 5 to 6 years working experience in the field of building maintenance mechanic construction, HVAC, industrial electrical wiring and capital equipment repair.
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (e.g. Green Card holder), or a protected individual as defined by the International Traffic in Arm Regulations (ITAR).

Responsibilities
- Dismantle machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts, and repair them using hand tools and instruction manuals.
- Measure, cut, and install pipe and tubing for gas and water, using cutting and threading die tools or soldering equipment.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, flow meters, pumps, and other plumbing equipment.
- Determine wire and conduit size and install electrical power to equipment, and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.
- Have knowledge of national electrical code.
- Troubleshoot existing equipment control circuits.
- Have knowledge of HVAC systems, gas boilers, direct expansion air-conditioning and controls.
- Operate gas or arc-welding equipment to fabricate metal framing, fixtures, stands, and other equipment parts.
- Communicate/relate to personnel/supervisors in all areas of plant.
- Perform work in accordance with drawings, schematics, manuals, and building codes.
- Follow all security and safety instructions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Able to read mechanical drawings and schematics
- Associate’s Degree in related technical field or accredited certificate preferred
