Position Summary: The Assistant Store Manager is a pivotal role at Stella’s Ice Cream. This position supports the Store Manager in fostering our company values and culture. You will engage directly with both the team and our customers to enhance our workplace and service environment. This role demands a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced and high-volume setting, focused on maintaining operational excellence and uplifting the team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with our team and community.
- Support the hiring, training, and development of all shop staff.
- Aid in team development and retention initiatives.
- Assist in forecasting and scheduling to optimally meet the needs of the team and our customers.
- Ensure the shop always operates at 100% capacity.
- Uphold stringent product quality and food safety standards.
- Communicate company updates effectively to staff.
- Manage resources to achieve fiscal responsibilities and strategic objectives.
- Participate in the daily production of ice cream and baked goods.
Experience:
- Food service management
- POS system proficiency
- Supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant settings
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Experience in kitchen management and food preparation
- Familiarity with inventory control and management
- Previous experience in quick service restaurant environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
