Part-Time Manager – Women’s Consignment Boutique
Stella Rose is looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Part-Time Manager to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who enjoys fashion, working with people, and being part of a small-business environment. This position is hands-on and includes both customer service and the day-to-day operations of our consignment boutique.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the store
- Providing friendly, attentive customer service
- Processing sales and operating the register
- Scheduling and handling intake appointments with consignors
- Accepting and processing consignments
- Identifying and evaluating contemporary, designer, and luxury fashion brands
- Recognizing quality, authenticity indicators, condition, and market value when reviewing merchandise
- Pricing, tagging, and organizing inventory
- Merchandising and maintaining store displays
- Keeping the store clean and organized
- Assisting with consignor accounts and payouts
- Photographing and listing items online as needed
- Packing and shipping online orders
- Helping with social media, promotions, and other day-to-day store needs
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Knowledgeable about women’s fashion brands, including designer and luxury labels
- Familiar with current fashion trends, resale values, and brand desirability
- Dependable and comfortable working independently
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable evaluating merchandise and making informed pricing recommendations
- Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
- Interested in fashion, resale, and consignment
- Able to multitask and take initiative
- Able to work weekends
Previous retail, consignment, authentication, or management experience is preferred. We’re especially interested in candidates with a strong knowledge of contemporary, designer, and luxury fashion brands. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to be part of Stella Rose.
Position: Part-Time. Starts out 2-3 times per week as you train under the current manager and transitions into 4 days per week in the following months. (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.)
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
