JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary resource for managing and optimizing our ERP environment. This role focuses on cleaning up and improving system configurations, ensuring accurate reporting and bridging the gap between technical systems and business users. The analyst will also lead integrations between our ERP and other platforms such as D-Tools and Paycom, ensuring seamless workflows and data integrity across the organization.

- System Optimization: Audit and clean up the ERP environment to ensure accurate data flow, reporting, and compliance with business processes.
- Reporting & Analysis: Investigate discrepancies in financial and operational reporting, explain system logic to accounting and leadership and implement solutions for improved accuracy.
- Integration Management: Oversee and execute integrations between ERP and third party tools (e.g., D-Tools, Paycom, CRM), ensuring smooth data synchronization and operational efficiency.
- Process Documentation: Develop clear documentation for workflows, integrations and reporting logic to support internal teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users, translating complex system concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to accounting and operations teams on system functionality and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and scalability within the ERP ecosystem.
Key Skills and abilities
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (experience with NetSuite required).
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and system workflows.
- Experience with system integrations and data mapping between platforms.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non technical audiences.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Required Education, Experience & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP administration, business systems analysis, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite experience required).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines and copy machines. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
