Our 60-acre manufacturing site in Cameron is home to a complete utility pole production operation (including peeling, framing, and treating) handled entirely on-site. The local Stella-Jones team of 35 manufacturing professionals ensures consistent quality through every stage. Position Overview
The Treating Helper assists in the handling, manufacture, and processing of lumber and round stock. This includes operating power tools and equipment as directed.
The shift times for this position are 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Position Overview
The Treating Helper assists in the handling, manufacture, and processing of lumber and round stock. This includes operating power tools and equipment as directed.
The shift times for this position are 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Key Duties
- Perform all duties of Inspector, Machine Operator 2 and Laborer positions as required.
- Operate material handling equipment
- Performs inventory counts
- Assist in loading of railroad cars, trucks and trams
- Cleanup of yard, processing systems, or other areas as required.
- Assist as helper in other duties as may be assigned.
- Change treatment charges. Identify and inspect materials for conformance, inspect binders and cables, moves and store charges.
- Participates and contributes to company safety program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year or manufacturing, utilities, farm labor, or treating-related experience a plus
- Respiratory training and ability to pass Medical exam and Respirator fit test
