Position Overview
We’re looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our Silver Springs team!
This role is perfect for someone with basic maintenance and welding experience who wants to grow their skills in an industrial setting. You’ll assist with equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep across the plant while learning from experienced maintenance professionals.
Key Duties
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Lubricate, clean, and inspect parts to keep systems running smoothly.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support the Preventive Maintenance Program and keep accurate maintenance logs.
- Use welding and fabrication tools to assist in equipment repairs or modifications.
- Maintain safe and organized work areas and follow all company safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including general plant support and cleanup.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Pay: $29.50–$36.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- 1–3 years of industrial, mechanical, or maintenance experience required.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and follow basic mechanical diagrams or instructions.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills.
