📍 Location: Norfolk, VA💰 Pay: Up to $26 per hour

We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy machinery. If you have a strong mechanical background and experience with loaders, excavators, and bulldozers, this is the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

✅ Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment, including wheel loaders, excavators, and forklifts✅ Diagnose and repair hydraulic, brake, engine, transmission, and electrical systems✅ Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues✅ Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards✅ Maintain certifications for brake inspections, annual inspections, and A/C systems✅ Follow OSHA, safety regulations, and company policies at all times✅ Handle administrative tasks, including maintenance software use, part sourcing, and scheduling repairs✅ Coordinate purchase orders (POs) with regional fleet specialists

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

🔹 3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician🔹 Strong knowledge of brakes, hydraulics, suspensions, and electrical systems🔹 Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently🔹 Valid driver’s license🔹 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions🔹 Comfortable standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
