The Role
The Field Superintendent is the critical link between management, project managers, and the jobsite.
You’ll lead multiple crews across the Charlotte market—mentoring electricians, driving progress, and making sure every job runs on time, on budget, and up to Stelco standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can translate vision into execution and own results in the field.
What You’ll OwnTeamwork & Execution
- Visit job sites to drive progress and keep projects moving
- Evaluate needs for labor, materials, and resources
- Communicate customer questions, concerns, and changes to the full project team
- Act as the bridge between field and leadership
Leadership
- Mentor lead electricians and guide crews in efficient, high-quality installations
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, schematics, and project direction
- Develop your people—push them to grow while supporting their success
Communication & Planning
- Provide regular “Look Ahead” reports for each project
- Notify leadership of manpower changes, jobsite conditions, and risks
- Maintain material lists and communicate needs with proper lead time
- Coordinate with G.C.s, customers, and other trades to keep work aligned
- Report deviations before work is performed—not after

Safety
- Maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times

- Electrical License or 7–10 years of equivalent experience
- Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Proven experience leading large-scale electrical projects and teams
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Deep understanding of safety procedures and jobsite standards
- Valid driver’s license (in good standing)
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
- Strong and growing presence in the Charlotte market

- Electrical License or 7 years of equivalent experience

Education:

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
