About the Role
The Litigation Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting associate and partner attorneys through every stage of the litigation process, from initial case intake to trial preparation and post-trial proceedings. This position is responsible for maintaining effective case management, preparing and organizing legal documents, interviewing clients, and managing correspondence. The role also involves collaborating closely with attorneys and clients to discuss case details, as well as organizing and maintaining files related to a variety of legal proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including filings, discovery, and trial support.
- Communicating with clients to gather information and documentation for discovery responses.
- Draft a variety of legal documents such as subpoenas, complaints, discovery requests and responses, motions, and pre-trial filings.
- Collect, review, and manage medical records and billing statements for each client.
- Assist attorney with written discoveries
- Assist attorney in drafting written demand letters to insurance companies or opposing counsel.
- Prepare reduction and/or waiver requests from medical providers during the case closing process.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment (e.g., photocopiers, scanners, fax machines)
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Dependability and a high level of integrity, particularly regarding confidentiality and company policies
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills when working with clients, providers, and internal staff
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
- A high school diploma, GED, equivalent

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer, as well as handle prolonged periods of phone communication.
