Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Milwaukee, WI. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and creating functional and inviting interior spaces by integrating space planning, furniture, and décor. Key tasks include developing design concepts, preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment), collaborating with clients and project teams to bring their vision to life, and ensuring projects are completed on time while reflecting Steinhafels' commitment to quality and style.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and understanding of Interior Design principles.
- Experience with Architecture and preparing Construction Drawings.
- Expertise in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) selection and sourcing.
- Excellent creativity, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is preferred.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Previous experience in retail design, home staging, or a similar field is a plus.
