Position Summary:
Responsible for the input and managing of group rooming lists provided to the hotel. Communicate with key group contacts throughout the planning process in regards to their room block and billing. Send rooming list and pick up reports to group contacts as requested and required. Verify that billing for groups are set up properly and preparation of the final group master bill. Assist with incoming hotel reservation calls for leisure and group guests.
Essential Functions:
- Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm schedule.
- Personal contact with groups
- Entering information correctly in computer (group booking, rooming list, etc.)
- Giving out accurate information
- Finding out billing for rooms/individuals/groups
- Attend weekly sales meeting
- Training of new employees in the Reservations department
- Liaison between Group Sales and Reservations, Front Desk
- Making sure to get a signed group block guarantee or rooming list
Other Responsibilities:
- Helping out in Reservations when needed
- Assisting in PBX
- Blocking rooms when needed
Preferred Education & Experience:
High School diploma required/some college preferred.
