Construction Laborer

We are seeking a Full-time Construction Laborer for Residential and Commercial projects in the greater Seattle-Bellevue area. This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the building process by providing general help, demolition, installation, assembly of construction components, safe equipment usage (i.e. hand tools & equipment), and performing all necessary job-related tasks as assigned.

* * * Previous Experience & Knowledge is encouraged, 3 years general labor/construction/skilled carpenter experience * * *

Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

• Works well in teams but can work independently
• Able to follow and carry out detailed instructions from all members of the team
• Must be able to follow and give oral, written and interpret blue prints & rough sketches for job site direction
• Willingness to learn on the job
• Demonstrate pride in customer service, craftsmanship, site management and team work
• Perform tasks related to demolition, installation, and quality finishing work on schedule
• Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities and attention to detail
• Operate hand and power tools safely - Provide own tools to use are a plus!

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a clean, reliable pick-up truck or van
• Must have own basic hand tools and equipment (cordless drill, hammer, extension cords, etc)
• Must be able to work comfortably in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
• Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift up to and exceeding 50 lbs.
