This role is responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of technology-focused projects and programs, including implementation and enhancement of enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and backend systems. The individual will serve as a Scrum Master and Agile leader, ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles and deliver high-quality software efficiently.
Responsibilities
Agile Leadership
- Act as a dedicated Scrum Master for multiple e-commerce backend development teams
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Promote Agile values and ensure adherence to Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles
- Champion Agile best practices and continuous improvement
- Coach teams and stakeholders to identify and eliminate anti-patterns
- Drive efficiency, predictability, and quality in delivery
- Support PI planning and execution by ensuring visibility and alignment of features across the lifecycle
- Coordinate across teams to maintain flow from analysis through release
- Partner with Product Owners, Technical Program Leads, and Architects
- Maintain a well-refined backlog (Sprint 2 readiness) aligned to business priorities
- Identify, track, and resolve blockers impacting delivery
- Escalate risks and dependencies as needed
- Leverage tools such as Jira, GitHub, Atlassian suite, and Xray for:
- Backlog management
- Sprint tracking
- Release coordination
Details:
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years in a Scrum Master, Technical Program Manager, or similar role in software development
- Proven experience leading Agile teams in e-commerce or backend systems
- Strong expertise in Jira (backlogs, sprints, releases, reporting)
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
- Continuous improvement practices
- Jira and Agile tooling
- Solid understanding of:
- Branching strategies
- QA processes
- Deployment patterns
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM I)
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Exposure to AI/ML tools for Agile optimization (e.g., backlog automation, QA acceleration)
- Automotive industry experience
- Background in building or supporting custom e-commerce platforms
