Job Description

• Participates in the planning, deployment and ongoing support for systems and applications used by the organization, including technical problem analysis and resolution, and provides support via issue escalation.
• Record, track and report on all issues and requests with detailed technical documentation on the actions taken and final resolution.
• Maintain systems and applications efficiency.
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users and others in IT.
• Maintain network and system security.
• Identify user needs.
• Assist with maintenance of servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, personal digital assistants, software deployment, security updates and patches.
  
  

Job Requirements

Details:

• Technical Certifications or associated work experience preferred.
• Some experience supporting 100 user IT environments.
• Experience with Intel based hardware maintenance.
• Experience in supporting a 24x7 production environment.
• Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in their work assignments which typically are complex in nature.
• Basic understanding of Networking architecture.
• Sound decision making and critical thinking, and good troubleshooting skills.
  
  

Team results oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to work with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure and knowledge of these additional skills.
• Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
