Job Description
- Participates in the planning, deployment and ongoing support for systems and applications used by the organization, including technical problem analysis and resolution, and provides support via issue escalation.
- Record, track and report on all issues and requests with detailed technical documentation on the actions taken and final resolution.
- Maintain systems and applications efficiency.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users and others in IT.
- Maintain network and system security.
- Identify user needs.
- Assist with maintenance of servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, personal digital assistants, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Details:
- Technical Certifications or associated work experience preferred.
- Some experience supporting 100 user IT environments.
- Experience with Intel based hardware maintenance.
- Experience in supporting a 24x7 production environment.
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in their work assignments which typically are complex in nature.
- Basic understanding of Networking architecture.
- Sound decision making and critical thinking, and good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure and knowledge of these additional skills.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
