Description:
- Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Monitor production lines for adherence to established quality protocols and report any deviations immediately.
- Implement and manage quality holds as necessary, ensuring proper documentation of the reasons for holds and the outcomes of investigations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspections, investigations, and resolutions.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure understanding and compliance with quality expectations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in line with regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, safety, and efficiency within the manufacturing process.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in quality, food safety, or manufacturing roles.
- Experience executing quality holds, investigations, and documentation.
- Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., QCMS, HACCP, FSSC) preferred.
