Work Location
- Onsite at 6450 Technology Dr, Salem, VA 24153
- The engineer will work closely with product owners and should also be capable of taking the lead on engineering tasks when needed.
- Serve as primary responsible for design-related queries and issues
- Manage and coordinate process and product changes
- Utilize CATIA V5 for all design and engineering tasks
- Apply engineering principles to develop automotive products that meet customer technical and functional specifications, as well as manufacturing cost and efficiency requirements.
- Conduct 3D modeling to evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed designs
- Support and participate in the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of automotive prototypes
- Design manufacturing processes and equipment specific to automotive product production.
- Manage product releases, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of new designs and updates
- 5 years of hands-on experience in product engineering, specifically within the automotive industry, focusing on design, development, and implementation of automotive products.
- Extensive experience utilizing CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and design tasks, with a proven track record of managing complex design-related queries and issues.
- Experience with data management system: PLM - Product Lifecycle Management
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate process and product changes effectively, ensuring timely and efficient product releases while adhering to customer specifications and manufacturing efficiency requirements.
