- Support the development and management of the data infrastructure for the DOJ Data Lab Assist in data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and optimization Automate workflows to support real-time data access.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud engineering.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
- Experience with Azure or another cloud platform.
- Familiarity with containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance.
- Experience in government, public safety, or legal data environments.
- Certification in Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or Security.
- Familiarity with GIS data, real-time streaming technologies, or Airflow.
