Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for communicating with customers, assessing vehicle issues, and coordinating repairs with our automotive technicians.
Duties
- Interact with customers to determine vehicle problems and maintenance needs
- Prepare accurate repair orders detailing customer concerns and vehicle issues
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs
- Provide cost estimates for parts and labor
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles
- Maintain customer records and update service history
Experience
- Prior experience in auto estimating, automotive repair, or service writing preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and repairs
- Familiarity with auto body repair, brake repair, transmission, shocks, struts, automotive diagnostics is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
