Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Steet Toyota Johnstown is looking to add someone spectacular to our Accounting team !!

We are looking for someone that is dependable, dedicated, organized & self-motivated. The right candidate will have the ability to work with a diverse group of people, display active imagination , has a professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills.

• Ensuring timely invoice payment with reconciliation to monthly statements.
• Vendor compliance , collect/issue W-9 forms and collect COI for workers comp coverages for onsite vendors .
• Manage Business Receivable accounts and following up with unpaid balances as well as generating and mailing monthly statements .
• Post and reconcile monthly Parts Statement from manufacturer.
• AutoMate experience is preferred , but not required, willing to train .
• Cash Tracking and filing 8300s in a timely manner
• Assist in receiving and recording cash, checks and credit card payments from customers in Service/Parts/Sales. Reconciling cash drawer twice daily ; once upon opening and again before leaving for the day.
• Closing Repair Orders and Parts Tickets in Accounting System.
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Clerical duties ,such as: scanning, faxing, filing, as well as data entry.
• Assist the Office Manager with various clerical and month end duties as needed.
• Assist Title Clerk with processing paperwork for vehicle purchases.

**Rotation of Saturdays (8:00am - 1:00pm) is a must once training is completed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
