We are seeking an energetic and motivated Service Business Development Center Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking vehicle service and maintenance, helping to build lasting relationships while driving service sales. - Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive for service appointments or inquiries
- Assist customers in scheduling service appointments via phone or in person
- Promote additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, transmissions, and diesel engine repairs
- Upsell recommended maintenance and repair services based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics
- Handle cash transactions accurately for service-related payments
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and sales activities
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and mechanical systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, air brakes, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, tire services, oil changes, and diesel engine repairs
- Proven ability in upselling automotive services and parts effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanic work or automotive repair processes enhances your ability to connect with customers’ needs
- Prior experience handling cash transactions accurately is desirable
