We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch automotive service that keeps our customers satisfied and vehicles running smoothly.
Duties
- Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Repair and replace powertrain components, transmissions, steering systems, and suspension parts with precision.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs efficiently.
- Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle repair procedures on GM vehicles and other makes/models.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, and transmission.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics reading.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service best practices.
- Experience working on GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Service technician experience with a focus on automotive repair and maintenance is essential.
