Steep Marketing is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Account Manager to join our growing client success team. This role combines account management, project coordination, and client communication, serving as the bridge between financial advisor clients, Steep’s internal teams, and the Success Coach you’ll directly support. You’ll guide clients through every step of their marketing campaigns – from onboarding and compliance approvals to launch and follow-up – ensuring a seamless experience and measurable results. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in professional communication, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with a Steep Success Coach to manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
- Onboard and train new clients in order to align their campaign(s) with Steep's best practices.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients throughout campaign planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Process new orders with accuracy and coordinate with internal teams to keep campaigns on schedule.
- Secure all necessary client approvals, compliance documents, agreements, and payments.
- Provide weekly updates on campaign progress, results, and next steps using HubSpot for tracking and reporting.
- Troubleshoot client issues with a humble, problem-solving mindset, enabling the Success Coach to focus on new business.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across campaigns.
- Conduct market research and territory checks to prevent client overlap or conflicts.
- Advocate for client needs while balancing Steep’s internal workflows.
- Build strong relationships that drive long-term retention and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in account management, client services, or project management (client-facing experience required).
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident on phone and Zoom, with strong email proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under deadlines.
- A customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to anticipating needs.

- In-Office Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $71,000 – $81,000 annually (based on experience).
