Sr Project Manager – Mechanical Division

Steelworx Industrial Group is expanding our team! We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in Industrial and Commercial Mechanical/Process piping installation.

The Senior Project Manager, Mechanical & Process Piping, will report directly to the Director of Industrial. This role is responsible for managing all Project phases starting at customer contact, through Bid Development and Project Execution. The Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful projects in an Industrial setting which include but is not limited to the following:

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

· Project Management, including bidding – at least 5 years of applicable experience, 7 preferred

· Proven Track record of successful projects of $500K or more

· Knowledge of applicable codes relating to general construction

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required; word, excel, etc. Procore experience preferred

· Understanding of permitting requirements and city/state regulations

· Proven leadership skills in developing less senior team members

· Excellent cross department communication skills fostering an environment rooted in teamwork

· Willingness to travel as needed, 30-50% of the time, including flexible hours and sometimes nights

Additional skills:

· Preferred candidate will have experience in the food processing industry, and a working knowledge of applicable standards for the industry

Position Responsibilities:

· Develop project bids based upon customer requirements.

· Coordinate with other disciplines to develop project schedules and milestones.

· Manage projects from bid to completion with minimal oversight.

· Manage project team to ensure successful on-time project completion.

· Develop and maintain positive client relationships

· Manage Project budgets, maintaining project bid Margins and profitability

· Represent company in professional manner while attending client meetings and professional events
