Machine Operator 2nd/3rd Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Produce quality parts, load programs and pick up offsets in a timely manner

FUNCTIONS:

Conduct first and last part self- inspection under the supervision of a Level II or above

Build required tooling and fixtures

Conduct and record preventative maintenance on machines

Utilize set up sheets to correctly set up the job.

Use PIR’s and report any problems to Level II or above

Set up tilt table and adjust off sets

Enter data into company data base

Maintain a neat and clean work area

Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to make adjustments to machines

Ability to identify correct cutting tools as called out on set up sheets

Maintain knowledge, skill and ability to operate:

Measuring Tools (Advanced Compactor), varied hand tools and hand grinders and other job related equipment

Indexer, Tilt Table, Vacuum Table and 90 degree head

Ability to operator a computer, copier and other common office machinery

Ability to read small print with strong attention to detail

Ability to work with minimal supervision and to think independently

Good spoken and written communication skills

Must be able to thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
2nd Shift has a shift differential of 20%

3rd Shift has a shift differential of 25%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
