What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I - Elementary Teacher position at STEELVILLE ELEMENTARY?
Qualification /Requirements: The teacher will meet professional certification standards as set by DESE.
Steelville Elementary is seeking a Title-I elementary teacher with grades 1-6 certification.
Essential job duties:
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated
- Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
- Designs and implements lesson plans that are rigorous and aligned to the Missouri state standards and the districts’ priority standards
- Evaluates and progress monitors students’ progress on a regular basis.
- Communicates effectively with all stakeholders
- Active participant in the PLC process within the school
- Provide intervention strategies to groups of students at times designated
- Attends and participates in faculty meetings
- Adheres to all state and federal requirements within the IDEA and 504 plans
- Other duties assigned by building principal or other administrative team members
- Adheres to all federal, state, and local policies.
The Title-I teacher will be required to plan and provide appropriate learning experiences and interventions throughout the school year to ensure growth for all students.
