The company is looking for individuals with at least some mechanical and/or electrical aptitude and experience and/or motivation to learn new skills. Some experience and knowledge of assembly operations is preferred but not required. You must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment and be willing to work 40 hours per week plus overtime when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for some or all of the following, among other duties:

· Use basic hand tools such as: wire strippers, hammers, screwdrivers, ratchets and sockets, hand wrenches, wire cutters, crimpers, tubing bender and cutter, tubing flaring tool, tape measure, torque wrench or any other hand tool needed to complete the assembly.

· Use various electrical and pneumatic power tools such as: grinders, sanders, drills, impact gun, power saw, rivet gun, air ratchet, heat gun, or any other such tool needed to complete the assembly.

· Read drawings, job specifications, and/or travelers to determine trailer assembly and material requirements.

· Retrieve painted trailer from the yard and component parts from stock that will be needed to assemble the unit. Sets up parts in an assembly line configuration.

· Install running lights by stripping and crimping appropriate connections. Installs lights to trailer.

· Install hydraulic brake lines or electric brakes by making the correct connections.

· Bleed air from the brake system.

· Install various sizes and types of axles, wheels and tires.

· Install warning labels and various other product and customer decals.

· Use various types and sizes of bolts, nuts, washers, screws, or any other hardware needed to complete the assembly.

· Bolt, rivet, and/or spot weld workpieces.

· Touch up paint as needed.

· Stack, package and label products as needed for storage or shipping to customer.

· Develop knowledge of all products, parts and customer requirements,

· Assist with maintaining production areas in clean and organized condition.

· Assist with maintenance of tools, machinery and equipment.

· Such other duties as management may direct from time to time.

Qualified candidates must:

· Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent;

· Have energy and motivation;

· Have some mechanical or electrical experience and/or aptitude (preferred);

· Have some experience and knowledge of assembly operations (preferred);

· Be able to meet the rigorous physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods of time, moving from a seated to standing position frequently, occasional climbing and/or balancing, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, be able to work where close vision and/or depth perception is required,

· Be reliable and able to come to work everyday - to our plant in Stallings, North Carolina, on time and ready to work;

· Be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime when required to meet customer deadlines;

· Be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.

· Be 18 years or older;

· Be authorized to work in the United States;'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
