Position Overview

SteelPeak Wealth is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Family Office Services to lead and enhance our multi-family office platform. This senior-level position will oversee all aspects of family office operations, client relationship management, estate and tax planning coordination, philanthropic advising, and the integration of investment, trust, and lifestyle services.


The Director will work closely with firm partners, advisors, and external specialists to deliver a seamless, high-touch experience for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients and their families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery and expansion of Family Office Services for UHNW clients.
  • Coordinate estate, tax, trust, investment, and philanthropic planning with internal and external advisors.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and primary relationship manager for select client families.
  • Develop customized family governance, succession planning, and next-generation education strategies.
  • Oversee consolidated reporting and performance tracking across complex client asset structures.
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure integrated, best-in-class client support.
  • Build and shape the Family Office Services function, ensuring seamless collaboration with advisors and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and firm policies.
  • Contribute to business development by articulating the unique value of Family Office Services to prospective clients.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or designation (JD, MBA, CPA, or CFP®) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth management, family office, private banking, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of estate planning, tax strategy, trust structures, and investment oversight for UHNW families.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of building or managing sophisticated client service functions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with ability to inspire confidence and build trust.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset with the ability to integrate multiple disciplines into holistic solutions.

Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
