Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist to support daily office operations for our steel and concrete construction company. This part-time position combines accounts payable responsibilities with front-office and administrative support, with room to grow into a full-time role.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00AM to 2:00PM
- Consistent weekday schedule supporting work-life balance
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment tracking
- Match invoices to receiving documents and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized financial and vendor records
- Answer and direct phone calls and greet visitors professionally
- Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Support project managers and office staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a small office environment
- Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required
