Job Title: Roadside Assistance Technician (Independent Contractor)

Job Summary: We are currently seeking experienced Roadside Assistance Technicians to join our team of independent contractors. In this role, you will provide timely and efficient roadside assistance services to stranded motorists. You must have your own vehicle with active insurance, and be available to work on a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. The pay for this position is between $44,000 and $60,000 per year.

Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls from stranded motorists • Provide timely and efficient services such as jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout services • Ensure safety and security of the stranded motorist, yourself and their vehicle • Provide excellent customer service and communication to the stranded motorist throughout the process • Keep accurate records of all services provided and submit timely reports

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1 year of experience in roadside assistance or related field preferred • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Must have own reliable vehicle with active insurance • Ability to work on a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays • Good communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job

Additional Requirement: • Must have own tools necessary to perform roadside assistance tasks • The company may assist in initially providing some tools, which will be paid for by the contractor over time

Note: It is the responsibility of the independent contractor to provide and maintain all necessary tools for the job. The company may assist in the initial purchase of some tools, which will be paid for by the contractor over time. It is important that the contractor owns their own tools to ensure that they can perform the job duties efficiently and effectively.

Salary and Benefits: The pay for this position is between $44,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own weekly schedule. No benefits will be provided for this position.
