Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to health standards to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents to achieve optimal results.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for easy access and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service, ensuring their satisfaction at all times.
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden cleaning, ensuring the exterior spaces are tidy and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles such as custodial or janitorial work.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and floor care methods.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and the safe use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is preferred but not required.

Pay: $23.06 - $27.77 per hour
