Landscape Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, hardscape and groundskeeping, ensuring that outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess skills in gardening, hardscape installation, and general landscape care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas.
• Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
• Winter snow removal work
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to hardscape landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work outside in Alaska weather and do physical work
• A valid driver's license may be required for some positions and you must have reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work
