Role Description
Duties:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in touring the property
- Provide information about available units, lease terms, and rental rates
- Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants
- Negotiate lease terms and prepare rental contracts
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and organized tenant files
- Assist with property maintenance and facilities management
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and schedule maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in leasing or property management preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs)
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication
