We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Leasing Consultant to join our vibrant property management team. Duties
- Greet prospective tenants in person or via phone, providing detailed information about available properties and leasing options in both languages.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting features and answering questions confidently to foster interest and trust.
- Manage lease or rental agreement documentation accurately using property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and other CRM systems.
- Screen applicants thoroughly, verifying income, rental history, and legal documentation including Section 8 vouchers and LIHTC compliance.
- Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving tenant concerns while maintaining positive relationships.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with tenant expectations and contractual obligations.
- Maintain organized records of leasing activities, client communications, contracts, and legal documents in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 programs, LIHTC regulations, and Fair Housing laws.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (fluency in English and another language), with exceptional phone etiquette and client relationship management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, lease agreements, and rental documentation accurately while adhering to legal standards.
- Previous experience working within property management companies or facilities management environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, filing, budgeting support, and correspondence.
- Ability to handle conflict situations diplomatically while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing systems, and administrative tasks related to leasing operations.
