About the Position
The Utilization Review/Discharge Planning RN role is responsible for ensuring that the UM program maintains documented, up-to-date policies and procedures, and ensures all UM key processes have valid outcome measures monitored for compliance and reported to various audiences.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient processes for UM based on regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
- Conduct a variety of concurrent and retrospective UM-related reviews and functions.
- Ensure data tracking, evaluation, and reporting for UM.
- Monitor UM program effectiveness and outcomes, identifying and applying metrics.
- Design and implement process improvement projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
Five years relevant clinical nursing work experience preferred.
