Duties/Responsibilities

- Scan and digitize medical records and documents into the electronic health records (HER) system.
- Ensure that all scanned documents are legible, complete and accurately indexed.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform quality checks on scanned documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with HIM staff to address any discrepancies or issues with medical records.
- Answer telephone and take requests for medical records or information.
- Deliver patient medical records to qualified personnel and departments upon request.
Must be a minimum of a high school junior or senior.
