Apply today and let's soar together!THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR FPI TECHNICIANTHE SCHEDULE:6:00 AM – 4:30 PMYOUR ROLE:As our FPI Technician, you'll inspect aerospace components with a sharp eye for detail and commitment to accuracy. Your day includes preparing parts for inspection, applying and removing fluorescent penetrants, performing UV-A inspections, and documenting your findings. You'll also handle dimensional checks using calipers and micrometers - ensuring every piece meets the high standards our clients expect.OUR REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GEDNDT Level II certification in PT/FPI per NAS-410 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A (or equivalent)2 years of FPI experience with metallic components (aerospace or gas-turbine preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work instructionsFamiliarity with ASTM E1417, AMS 2644, and quality systems (e.g., QSi, SAP)Must pass near-vision and color-vision examsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and operate small cranesJOIN US AT STEEL TOOL & ENGINEERINGSteel Tool & Engineering is more than a manufacturer; we're innovators, problem solvers, and teammates.
