As a Fabricator and Assembler, you will learn how to read and interpret panel and structural steel drawings, prep components, and then fabricate steel panels.

About The Role
We are seeking hard workers for an entry level position on our production team building high-quality cold-formed steel fabricated components for our clients.
As a Fabricator and Assembler, you will learn how to read and interpret panel and structural steel drawings, prep components, and then fabricate steel panels.
Duties Of This Job Will Include
- Fabrication and assembly of cold-formed steel fabricated structural components, i.e. wall panels, roof trusses, floor joists, etc., clean up of site, staging of materials.
- Performing quality checks with completed wall panels and components
- Conforming with company safety regulations
- Process improvement: identifying ways the system can be more efficient or improved
- Working under the direction of a qualified Steel Tek Framing site lead, on various fabrication projects.
- Work with all different types of hand and power tools.
- Potential overtime opportunities
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be able to lift up 80 lbs.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to effectively operate power tools
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability, or willingness to learn to interpret, fabrication drawings and assembly iinstructions
- Must be able to perform independently or with a team
- Must be able to follow safety requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test
