Security Guard (11:00pm to 7:00am)

Steel Security, located in NW Oklahoma City, is seeking a full-time armed or unarmed Security Officer for night shift, 11:00pm to 7:00am in a private, gated community. The Officer will have patrol duties and work at a security guardhouse vetting guests and/or contractors and assist police and fire if needed. The officer will have a partner on the shift to share and split up duties.

The gated residential community is located in NW OKC and our employees are well compensated and appreciated by our residents, celebrities and guests.

Must be able to work weekends.

Starting pay for an unarmed guard with no experience: $16.39

Starting pay for an armed guard with experience: $17.43

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• MUST have a current Oklahoma CLEET License.
• Ability to walk long distances if needed.
• Have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Have the ability to stay alert.
• Have the ability to communicate well
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Have great customer service skills
• May include lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
• MUST have a clean MVR
• Has the ability to learn access gate and vehicle control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.39 - $17.43 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
