JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Responsibilities Set up and operate machine to
form longitudinal bends, rolls, beads, or embossed design onto sheet
metal strips by action of two or more roller dies to fabricate items
such as molding, trim, weather-strip, and structural shapes specified by
work order or diagram. To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The duties
listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities
required to perform in this position. Functional Duties Analyze work
orders and read blueprints to determine information such as size
material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations
required, as needed. Must report accurate quantities, material used, and
time in MD Link. Bolt specified roller dies and drive rolls onto
spindles. Position spindles to align male and female roller dies and
adjust rolls to thickness of metal. Set side guides. Turns knobs to set
footage meter and control which stops machine or activates automatic
shear when specified length of strips have been run. Lift coils of metal
onto feed rack and thread end into feel roll. Direct flow of coolant
onto rolls or fill oil cups. Start machine, observe operation and verify
dimensions of finished products. Butt weld ends of coil together to form
continuous feed. Turn knobs or install gears to adjust speed of machine.
Verify coolant levels in machine and oil and grease moving parts as
specified. Receive coil and perform quality checks. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities Ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to apply, calculate
figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area,
circumference and volume. This position requires employees to be
certified forklift operators. The company will conduct forklift training
