Duties

• Manage nightly shop operations, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Assist with production planning, coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for optimal workflow.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline fabrication processes.
• Supervise and mentor shop personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout fabrication stages to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize manufacturing analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for operational excellence.

Experience

• Proven experience in production supervising within a manufacturing environment, preferably in structural steel or heavy fabrication industries.
• Demonstrated ability to implement lean manufacturing techniques and drive continuous process improvements.
• Hands-on experience with quality control procedures, mechanical assembly, and process optimization in a manufacturing setting.
• Leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively while promoting safety and operational excellence.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to structural steel fabrication processes is essential for understanding technical requirements and troubleshooting issues. Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
