Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for fitting and welding, steel & stainless-steel parts using MIG process.
Responsibilities
- To use Mig welding equipment to Manufacture as required meeting defined production schedule
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and measurements
- Supply quality parts from fixtures and jigs
- Ability to weld stainless and carbon steel
- Work as part of a team and able to discuss arising issues with Supervisor
- Operate necessary equipment to perform tasks such as but not limited to drills, grinders and sanders.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
- Ability to read blue prints
- Knowledge of various welding techniques specifically – MIG
- Knowledge of manual & mechanical welding techniques
- Attention to detail
- Highschool diploma/GED – preferred
- 2 years welding experience with steel
- 4 day – 10 hour – 1st Shift
