- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Maintain fixed assets in system; generate depreciation reports for posting and reconciling fixed asset accounts.
- Record routine and nonstandard journal entries and supporting documentation in the general ledger on a daily, monthly or annual basis for accrual accounting and appropriate classification.
- Complete month end inventory valuation process.
- Complete month end analytical review procedures to ensure appropriate recording and classification.
- Audit routine physical inventory counts (three to four times a year).
- Serve as a backup to review purchase orders and supplier invoices to perform matching of appropriate documentation prior to processing disbursements.
- Cross-train in other accounting areas.
- Perform tasks in helping implement our new ERP, Dynamics 365.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Three to five years accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment and public accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA.
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel.
- Well organized, detailed-oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter with ability to manage and complete multiple priorities in a timely manner.
