Steel Dynamics Overview:
Train individuals in multiple disciplines for our rescue teams. Participate in planning and leading training related activities. Support day-to-day safety coordinator activities as required. Oversight and development of the SDI Butler rescue programs and teams. Including onsite training, equipment maintenance and inspections, including evaluating department specific needs.Â
Responsibilities
Have a thorough understanding of the "TAKE CONTROL OF SAFETY" expectations and demonstrate an exceptional safety record. Possess excellent communication skills, a self-starting and motivated work ethic, and a proven track record of dedicated attendance. Also, have experience with our rescue teams, (confined space, fall rescue, first responder, competent person). Must complete certifications to be certified to instruct classes.
Qualifications
Preferred:
EMR or EMT Certification
OSHA 10 or 30
