Successful candidates will join the highly engaged and motivated Superior Aluminum Alloys production team and perform various entry level tasks in our aluminum smelting operation including material handling, quality inspection, product packaging and labeling, housekeeping and other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling mobile equipment such as forklifts
- Prepare various aluminum products for shipment including proper packaging and labeling
- Inspect finished product for quality
- Complete other tasks with their teammates as needed
- Self-motivation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well and communicate with a team
- Reliable attendance working 12-hour shifts on rotating 4-on/4-off schedule
- Fundamental math and reading skills with ability to learn various production processes
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous forklift or similar mobile equipment experience preferred
